Virtual Worlds Expo Round Up

I'm finally digging my way out of the email and RSS feed hole that the Virtual Worlds Expo left me in last week. Rounding up all the news from the show as well as a few other people's take on various sessions and and announcements, I'm remembering why I fell behind.  I've added links to all my stories and notes from sessions and those from other blogs that I had the foresight to bookmark during the Expo. If I've missed any--or you think there's something else I should add--feel free to shoot me an email or just post a link in the comments. Thanks, all, for the great, very busy week!

That's a Wrap: 1,300 Participate in 2nd Annual VW Expo

Photo60_3My many, many thanks to our speakers and sponsors for their support and participation at this year's VW Expo.  And another big thanks to our fantastic event staff.  It was a huge piece of work on everyone's part.  In all 1,300 people attended and participated - up from 1,100 at last year's show in San Jose.  Great conversations were had and some fantastic new products were introduced.  Of course the first annual Awards were also announced.  Be sure to check out the numerious posts here on VWNews over the past couple of days to catch up on all the activity.  Once we get our wits back about us again look for a detailed show summary for those that couldn't take everything in.

And don't forget we will be in London next month hosting Virtual Worlds London (Oct. 20-21).  Look for new exciting announcements from Linden Lab, Google and other players in the space.  The momentum in this industry is simply incredible.
