Sesame Street's Grover Gets iPhone App

Sesame Workshop, the enduring nonprofit educational organization responsible for a vast array of educational TV shows for kids, including Sesame Street, is teaming up with design firm IDEO and will launch the production company's first-ever iPhone/iPod touch app. Titled Grover's Number Special, the app is being priced at $2.99. The release of the app, says Sesame, is designed to shine a light on the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street series. "As Sesame Street marks this milestone year, we continue to innovate through the latest media platforms and offer our fans the best of 'Sesame Street' whenever and wherever they are," Jeffrey Fleishman, Sesame Workshop's assistant VP of media distribution business development, said in a statement.
