YoMeGo Restructures to White Label Technology
YoMeGo, the interactive entertainment company most recently behind MTV UK's House, is restructuring to feature its technology arm as a retailer of its social media platform, reports Mad.co.uk. The entertainment platform will be sold as a white label solution for brands looking to leverage virtual worlds, social networks, and user-generated content. Steve Richards, brought in as a business manager in June, will head the agency, but it sounds like the technology arm will function as a fairly separate entity.
“It’s not good enough anymore for a brand to customise a page of MySpace," Richards told Mad.co.uk. "As consumers become more savvy, they expect their favourite brands to push the boundaries. Bespoke social media applications give brands the power to build their own playgrounds and learn from the way customers enjoy themselves.”
