Entropia Universe announced today that it had joined NVIDIA's "The Way It's Meant to Be Played" program. Members of the program work with NVIDIA to optimize visual experiences for users working on PCs with NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. As part of the deal, NVIDIA and Entropia are giving away 30 GeForce 9800GT cards as item drops throughout the virtual world. With Entropia's planned upgrade to CryEngine 2 later this summer, it's already shown an increased interest in providing high-end graphics to virtual world users, something NVIDIA, with a new, formal focus on virtual worlds this year, is hoping more developers will follow suit on.

"The expertise that the NVIDIA team has to offer is so valuable to us as we strive to continually provide the best gaming experience for our players."
