eGuardian and WoogiWorld Partner for School Fundraiser Opportunity
Kids world WoogiWorld and safety solution eGuardian have partnered to offer a fundraising opportunity to U.S. schools. The two are donating the safety software and a 90-day virtual world membership (valued at $29) to schools to distribute to parents for donations, giving 100% of the proceeds to participating schools. And, of course, that's more potential members for WoogiWorld, which has seen a bit of a traffic decline since the end of the summer according to Alexa. Interested schools must sign up by September 29. The two previously partnered in April to add eGuardian's security to WoogiWorld.
"WoogiWorld is committed to children's welfare -- whether they are in a virtual world or the real world," WoogiWorld CEO Scott Dow said in a statement. "By providing our service to the schools free-of-charge, school districts around the country can potentially generate millions of dollars to go directly into its coffers."
