VW Expo Earlybird Registration Ends in 1 Week on July 25th
Earlybird registration rate for Virtual Worlds Expo ends 1 week from today (July 18th) on Friday, July 25th. Attendees can save $400 (40%) by taking advantage of the earlybird rate which is only $595. Rates go up to $795 on July 26th. Virtual Worlds Expo is dedicated to helping businesses harness the power of virtual worlds to engage with their customers, partners and employees. The event includes 4 tracks: Hollywood, Enterprise, Kids and Future. You'll hear from more than 60 expert speakers and keynotes from Jon Landau, Academy Award ® - winning Producer, Lightstorm Entertertainment, Inc. and Colin J. Parris, Ph.D., Vice President, Digital Convergence, IBM Research plus an additional surprise keynote still forthcoming. Virtual Worlds News is hosting the conference which is why we post these little conference tidbits from time to time.

Given the intermingling of news and convention ads and sponsorships I think each so called 'news' story should include a disclosure of what the companies mentioned in the story have paid to Virtual Worlds News and any other related company for coverage, promotion, convention advertising, sponsorship, etc. I am dead serious about this. If you purport to cover an emerging industry, you should disclose who among those you deem 'newsworthy' are backing you.
