IBM Research's VP Of Digital Convergence Colin J. Parris To Keynote Virtual Worlds Expo
We are pleased to announce that Colin J. Parris, Ph.D., VP, Digital Convergence at IBM Research will deliver a keynote address at Virtual Worlds Expo at 9 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2008 in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Colin engage in an interview discussion by leading industry analyst Erica Driver (recently co-founded ThinkBalm, formerly with Forrester Research). Colin will discuss how virtual worlds are bringing highly visual, interactive interfaces into the world of business, science, healthcare and education.
The Virtual Worlds Expo, presented by Virtual Worlds News, is the leading event for Fortune 1000 executives seeking to understand and maximize virtual worlds for collaboration, education, operations, commerce and other business applications. Colin spoke at our very first Virtual Worlds event, VW 2007, back in April of 2007. At that point many of the current players and technologies were still on the drawing board. Fast forward to 18 months later and now not only are there a range of technologies available but applications are now taking hold inside the enterprise. It should be an exciting session.

Is this an ad or news? How much did IBM pay for this?
