Vollee, a mobile gaming company, announced in February that it would bring Second Life to 3G handsets. The service, Vollee announced today, has gone into open beta (available here). My decidedly un-smart phone won't be running any sort of virtual environment more complicated than Dig Dug, but the company previously showed off a demo running on a Motorola phone and announced that it would bring the service to the iPhone as well. The Vollee forums discuss some of the inevitable beta hiccups, but also show Vollee reps already talking about new features for the next release. Can anyone else speak to their experiences?
