Icarus Studios Annunces New Platform Features

Icarus Studios announced today the addition of several new features to its platform for designing virtual worlds, serious games, and MMOGs, though it seems like the new features are largely aimed at MMOG creators. Now the platform allows developers more graphical options, including volumetric for and light blooms, as well as interactive tools, like letting players form raiding parties, organize guilds with special privileges, hold auctions for in-game items, and use an in-game mail system to exchange text messages with virtual goods attached either for free or with a CoD option built in for safe trading.

“After several months of refinements and testing, the Icarus Studios platform now offers a new layer of powerful technical features and system enhancements,”  Jim Hettinger, CEO of Icarus Studios, said in a statement.
