Habbos Create 100 Millionth Avatar
Sulake announced today that users have created the 100 millionth avatar in its virtual world, Habbo Hotel. The avatar was created by a user in the UK, who will receive various rare and custom virtual goods and and a new MacBook Air. As an accompanying stat shot, Sulake shares that Habbo is attracting 9.5 million uniques/month from 32 communities across six continents, with 64% visiting every day and averaging 39 minutes/visit. The audience is a near equal split between boys and girls, and 70% are 13-16 years old.
“This is an important landmark for Habbo,” Timo Soininen, CEO of Sulake, said in a statement. “Attracting 100 million Habbos is a testament to how user generated content and activities in a fun cartoony setting create a compelling service and experience for teens. We also have lots of exciting plans for the future, and look forward to watching how Habbos engage with the world around them.”

I love it! Habbos are great. I also occasionally create avatar versions of myself at this site.
