Second CSI Second Life Episode Airs Tonight

Last fall  the Electric Sheep Company worked with Anthony Zuiker, creator of the CSI franchise to develop a CSI lab in Second Life as a base for a two-episode story arc surrounding a murder in the virtual world. The first episode aired last October. The second airs tonight on CBS, 10-11 PM ET/PT. Of course, you should probably be in bed getting ready for Day 1 of Virtual Worlds 2008. If you're staying up, though, you can check out the machinima created by the Electric Sheep: "Speed is what distinguishes machinima from all other forms of animation," machinima animation director Kerria Seabrooke said in a statement. "In spite of the extremely tight deadline, we still had time to focus on details such as seamless animations, the richness of color, the flow of fabric, the metallic reflection on a gun, which bring the virtual world into the realm of high-end 3D animation."
