Habbo Hotel Partners with Double Fusion
In-game advertising network Double Fusion, which just last week announced a partnership with vSide, is expanding its reach into virtual worlds in a new partnership to run Habbo Hotel's ad inventory throughout the U.S. Habbo Hotel has done just fine in creating advertising and branding partnerships on its own, dealing with over 200 brands and companies ranging from Paramount to the WWE, but parent company Sulake also recently signed with the William Morris Agency to extend its Hollywood reach. Double Fusion's addition should do the same for other areas. "It's just a natural extension of our business to move into virtual worlds," Double Fusion CEO CEO Jonathan Epstein told GamesIndustry.biz. "We're very excited about virtual worlds and the new advanced online games because the communities continue to evolve, you have new people coming through, and you have live customer feedback that allows you to adjust and modify a marketing program in a way that continues to improve its performance."
