Universal Music Group Launches Rock Vault in Second Life
Rock Vault, the clothing and merchandise line created by Universal Music Group's merchandising division Bravado, has come to Second Life. With merchandise from 12 bands, including Slipknot, The Ramones, Trivium, Iron Maiden, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium and Cradle of Filth, users can find virtual t-shirts for their avatars before being linked back out to the main Web store to purchase physical goods. The sim, which is adding a frightening note to my morning of sipping coffee and listening to Joni Mitchell, was created by The Sine Wave Company. "We want the island to be a community spot and as well as developing creative new stuff for the bands, we will be encouraging the bands to come and meet people here and maybe to do some live gigs," said Rohan Freeman, CEO of The Sine Wave Company.

not bad, but all the tee shirts for sale are already available in-world for less at places like Warhead and they are cheaper too, but the ferryman is cool
