Second Life Eros Lawsuit Reaches Settlement

Eros, a maker of various sex-related objects in Second Life, has reached a settlement with Robert Leatherwood after accusing him of producing and selling illegitimate copies of the SexGen bed inside of Second Life. Previously Leatherwood remained an anonymous avatar, but subpoenas to Linden Lab and Pay Pal brought out his identity, which he recently confirmed to Reuters.  While many were following this in the hopes of seeing the case decided in court, Eros' owner Kevin Alderman has decided to move on. "We’ve reached a settlement," Eros’ attorney, Frank Taney told Virtually Blind. "The terms include an agreement that Leatherwood will not do any more copying." Taney expects the settlement to be finalized soon.
