Disney President Iger Talks Virtual Worlds, Social Media and Games

Disney president Robert Iger says the company considers the sweet spot of PCs and broadband as a primary source of entertianment for kids going forward. Iger was interviewed by BusinessWeek executive editor today at the Media Summit in New York. Currently under development is a Cars-based virtual world that takes place in "Radiator Springs" the fictional city where the movie took place, says Iger.  Disney "will likely continue to acquire game developers" in the future. The company is not interested in game publishers but rather developers which hold the key = great talent.
