Wireless Mobile World Makes Deloitte's Wireless Fast 50

Gemini Mobile's  eXplo platform made Deloitte's Wireless Fast 50 list at the CTIA Wireless conference last week. We recently wrote about ten mobile plays to watch in virtual worlds for future applications, but it looks like Gemini is already there. In Japan, S'town, a game built on the eXplo platform, lets users chat, shop, and meet up in the ad-supported virtual world with 11 basic avatars. The North American version will integrate with Facebook and Youtube. European users should see the platform rolled out sooner, but North Americans will wait until "sometime in 2008." [via CNET]
