Meez Parent Donnorwood Media Raises $500,000

Sean Ryan's Donnorwood Media Inc., the San Francisco-based online entertainment company, that runs the avatar service Meez, has raised $500,000 in convertible note funding from Battery Ventures and Transcosmos, according to a regulatory filing, reports PEHub. Interestingly, Ryan is on the board of Three Rings which currently has it's own virtual world under development dubbed Whirled.
