Trilogy gets $3.2MM of Series B Funding

Trilogy announced today that it had received $3.2 million in its second round of funding. We reported earlier this month that Chichen Itza Ventures, the group behind Makena and There, had led the round with a "significant investment" and would be adding Makena CEO Michael Wilson from Trilogy's board. Trilogy Founder Michael Pole told us then that the two companies would be collaborating on new IP, and now it looks like the money is going to help develop virtual worlds and casual MMOs. "We've received very promising feedback from established media companies looking to extend their film, television and music content into the virtual world space," said Trilogy President Rick Giolito.
